Shimmering light,
Glimmering water,
Smooth as glass,
A small breeze ruffles the grass.

The clouds build up,
The sun blocked out,
Innate fear intrudes,
Impulses to hide.

No excuse to stay,
Don’t like the reason to go,
But you stay to watch the clouds,
And what nature is conjuring.

The rain starts to fall,
The cone starts to form,
Darkened is the sky,
A green tint the clouds hold.

Gusts unsettle the water,
Rain makes thousands of crowns,
Winds throw hail like leaves,
The grass looks like a sea.

The clouds start to disperse,
The wind dies down,
But also things are left,
To mark the wrath of nature.

With many ill sightings,
The calm returns,
Scars will heal,
As the calm returns.
